Phoenix Dog Boarding and Training for Fearful, Anxious & Reactive Dogs
With more than 15 years of dog training experience, Missy provides personalized Board & Train in her Phoenix home, giving dogs consistent support in a trainer-hosted environment.

What Is Our Phoenix Board and Train Program?
Our Board and Train program gives your dog focused, consistent training in a real home environment with Missy. Because the program is trainer-hosted, Missy can closely observe your dog’s behavior, adjust the training as needed, and build progress through consistent repetition and guidance. Through a structured daily routine, your dog practices better habits throughout the day while we help you understand how to continue that progress at home.

Common questions
Phoenix Board and Train FAQs
Learn what happens during the program, which skills your dog can practice, and how training transfers back to your household.
What Happens During a Board and Train Program?
Your dog stays with the trainer while working through structured training in a consistent environment. The program can address obedience, manners, impulse control, socialization, confidence, and skills that need to carry over into everyday situations.
What Skills Will My Dog Learn During Board and Train?
Your dog can practice recall, heel, place, sit, down, stay, leash manners, impulse control, crate routines, and calm household behavior. Skills are also practiced around appropriate real-world distractions so they are useful beyond the training environment.
Is Board and Train Only for Dogs With Behavior Problems?
No. Board and train can help dogs that need stronger obedience, household manners, confidence, or impulse control. Dogs with significant aggression, severe reactivity, or complex behavioral concerns may be better suited to an individual Behavior Modification evaluation.
Does Board and Train Include Socialization?
Yes, when it is appropriate for the individual dog. Socialization is controlled and supervised, with exposure to suitable people, dogs, environments, sounds, and everyday situations. The goal is calm, appropriate behavior rather than uncontrolled interaction.
Will My Dog Practice Skills in Real-World Settings?
Yes. Depending on your dog’s readiness, training may take place at parks, trails, patios, pet-friendly stores, and other public locations. These sessions help your dog practice obedience and calm behavior around realistic distractions.
