Private lessons may help with mild reactivity, overexcitement, and impulse-control concerns when private dog training is appropriate. Dogs with aggression, resource guarding, severe fear, or more complex reactivity should first be evaluated for Active K9’s Behavior Modification program.
Can Private Training Combine Obedience and Behavior Work?
Yes. Private lessons can combine foundational obedience with work on manners, focus, and impulse control. If your dog’s needs fall outside the appropriate scope of private training, Active K9 will recommend a Behavior Modification evaluation instead.
